A paint defect is a damage to the paint that penetrates below the surface of the clear coat. We use top-of-the-line products and equipment to make your vehicle look new again.

All paint correction services include our full exterior wash, mask off trim and delicate areas for protection before correcting paint and applying a wax sealer. Types of Defects

• Swirl Marks: They are the most common paint defect and are typically very shallow in depth and frequent in occurrence. They are caused by incorrect vehicle washing and drying techniques.
• Random Deep Marring: This is also wash-induced but with a greater degree of force, which creates more damage to the paint.
• Deep Scratching: Where a significant amount of paint has been removed. Typically, are not only visible but can be felt by touch. Generally, these scratches penetrate deep into the paint surface and cannot be removed but can be lessened through leveling during the cut process of the paint correction.
• Water or Rain Spots: Spots are created by a chemical reaction on the paint surface that eats/dissolves the surface creating depression on the surface of the paint. Hard water, bird poop, sap, and dead insects all can cause spots that require a correction of the paint. 

Surface Defect Correction Types

There are a few different types of corrections that we offer that can be completed to resolve all of the surface defects listed above.

• All-in-one paint correction - can help with 40% to 50% clarity
• 1-step paint correction - can help with 50% to 70% clarity
• 2-step paint correction - can help with 70% to 90% clarity
